My Entry, Edge of the Woods 3, won a Merit Award from judge Jennifer Evenhaus. The Judge’s comments: “A small but powerful painting. This artist’s style is quite unusual, scumbling the pastels to create the impression of looking through a forest and feeling as though you are actually ‘in’ the forest, perhaps hiking or hunting, or horseback riding. Well done!”
